A notification regarding the direct recruitment basis for the position of Forest Range Officer in the AP Forest Services has been released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). Candidates who are SC, ST, BC, PWD, or ex-servicemen must pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- (application processing fee of 250/- plus examination fee of nil).

Application Fee: Rs. 370/- (prescribed fee of Rs. 120/- + application processing charge of Rs. 250/-) for candidates from other states.

Method of Payment: Credit card, debit card, or gateway.

Application correction fee: Rs. 100/- (per correction; changes to the name, fee, or age relaxation are not permitted).

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 Years old.

The maximum age is 30 Years old.

The age reduction will be granted in accordance with government regulations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

For Men

Height: a minimum of 163 cm.

Chest: 79 cm (with a minimum 5-cm extension at maximal inspiration).

Capable of covering 25 km on foot in 4 hours.

For Women

Height: 150 cm or more is required.

Chest: 74 cm (with a minimum 5-cm extension at maximal inspiration).

aAble to walk sixteen kilometers in 4 hours.

The following minimum height requirement applies to candidates who are members of Scheduled Tribes and races: Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Nagaland, Manipuri, Goutha, Kashmiri, Sikkimese, Bhutanese, and Tripura

For Men: 152 Cms

For Women: 145 Cms
