The SSC JHT 2023 Notification was officially announced on August 22, 2023, by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on their official website, @ssc.nic.in. According to the announcement, 307 positions have been made available for the positions of Senior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, and Junior Hindi Translator. On August 22, 2023, the SSC JHT 2023 online application period opened. The application must be submitted by September 12, 2023, at the latest. Age Limit:

The minimum age is 18 Years.

Maximum Age: 30 Years as of August 1, 2023, meaning that candidates who were born between August 2, 1993, and August 1, 2005, are eligible to apply.

Age relaxation is permitted by law for candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, PH, or ex-servicemen.

Qualifications:
Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator

a master's degree in Hindi from an accredited university with English taught either as an elective or required course, or as the examination language at the degree level.

-- OR--

Hindi may be taken as an elective or required subject, or it can be used as the medium of examination for the master's degree in English from an accredited university.

-- OR--

A master's degree in any field other than Hindi or English from a recognized university, with Hindi serving as the primary language of instruction and English serving as the language of instruction or examination at the degree level.

-- OR--

a master's degree in any topic other than Hindi or English from a recognized university, with Hindi used as the language of instruction for both required and elective courses as well as for degree-level exams.

-- OR--

Two years of experience translating from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Offices, including Government of India Undertaking, or a Master's degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as required or elective subjects, or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

Senior Hindi Translator

a master's degree in Hindi from an accredited university with English taught either as an elective or required course, or as the examination language at the degree level

Hindi may be taken as an elective or required subject, or it can be used as the medium of examination for the master's degree in English from an accredited university..

-- OR--

A Master's degree from an accredited university in a subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English offered as elective or required courses, or both as the language of instruction and the other as a required or elective subject at the degree level; additionally, three years of experience translating from Hindi to English in Central or State Government offices, including the Government of India Undertaking; and a recognized diploma or certificate program in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.
