The Engineering Services Examination 2024 announcement has been made public by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the categories of civil, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and telecommunication engineering. For 167 Engineering Services Examination positions, UPSC is accepting online applications. The number of positions to be filled based on the exam results is anticipated to be around 167, including 5 positions for people with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), including 4 positions for people with locomotor disabilities, including those related to leprosy cure, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy, and 1 position for people with multiple disabilities. The number of openings is subject to change. Candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Castes and Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Persons with Benchmark Disability Category would receive preference for any positions that may be determined by the Government of India.
