Baba Chuharmal the great warrior

On April 4, 1313, or Chaitra Purnima, Chauharmal was born into a Dusadh caste farmer's family in Shankarwad Tola of Mokama Tal, Mokama Anchal region of Bihar, which was then known as Magadha. His mother was Raghumati, and his father was Bandimal. He passed away on November 1st, 1433, at the age of 120. His place of employment was in Turkajni village, 14 kilometres distant from Charadih of Mokama Tal, where his maternal grandparents lived.

They had piety. Despite numerous pleadings for love from Arya Sundari Reshma, the sister of his Gurubhai Samant Ajbi Singh, he remained chaste.
The rebellion against feudal domination was symbolised by Chauharmal. He led a courageous uprising against the Charadih feudal lords' economic blockade, saving his people from danger.
To free himself from the tyranny of feudal lords, Chauharmal had turned Charadih into a training ground where he trained in the use of weapons. Due to Chauharmal's skill in battle and his humility and knowledge, he was able to defeat his foes on all fronts.
A representation of racial peace was Chauharmal. The mausoleum of Chauharmal is situated close to the grave of Hazrat Makhdoom Sahib in the Badi Dargah of Bihar Sharif. On his tomb, it says Chulhay in Urdu.

Every year in the month of Chaitra, he hosts a week-long fair at a vihara in Charadih. At the Chauharmal fair, more than 10 lakh people from various regions attend. His Pindi, which has long been revered, is also present here. Later, a life size was also erected here.
Some individuals also attempt to Brahminize Chauharmal by claiming that he possessed supernatural abilities. However, this is untrue. He was a great man, and people revere him for his favourable deeds. Around Mokama, the Reshma-Chauharmal play is well-known for showcasing their creativity.
His advice includes not abusing your authority, always acting in the best interests of society while using your knowledge and influence, abstaining from alcohol and being lazy, respecting women, living in love and harmony, not being arrogant, working hard, and having self-respect. Live honourably, abhor tyranny, uphold justice, maintain harmony, look out for others, etc.
