Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET) 2023 registration has been announced by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Candidates that meet the requirements for the following position and are interested in applying online can read the notification. Advt No. 224/2023

Application Fees:
For a Single Paper: Paper-I / Paper-II

For all categories—general, economically weaker general, backward classes, and extremely backward classes—the fee is Rs. 960.

Rs. 760/- for those who are SC/ ST/Divyang.

For Both Papers

Rs. 1440/- for General, Economically Weaker General Category, Backward Classes, and Extremely Backward Class.

For candidates who are SC/ ST/Divyang: Rs. 1140.

Payment: Online through the use of a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Important Dates:

Start Date for applying : August 09, 2023

Last Date for applying : August 23, 2023

Age Limit:

21 years of age is the minimum.

Males may only be 37 years old.

Females may not be older than 40.

Qualifications:
Paper 1 (Secondary)

50% on a bachelor's degree in the relevant field, plus passing the B.Ed.

Possess a master's degree in the relevant field and have passed the B.Ed. test.

B.Ed. and a bachelor's or master's degree with at least 45% of the required marks (under NCTE standards).

Passed the BA B.Ed / BSc B.Ed test after a four-year program.

Paper 11 (Senior Secondary)

Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% overall and passing B.Ed test, or BA B.Ed/B.Sc. B.Ed.

Master's degree with 55% marks and completion of a 3-year B.Ed or MEd programme.

Master's degree with at least 45% marks (per NCTE guidelines) and B.Ed.
