On May 29, 2023, the Defence Research and Development Organization's Recruitment and Assessment Center published a notice for the DRDO RAC Recruitment 2023: Scientist-B Posts. DRDO is accepting applications to fill 181 open scientist positions. As soon as the application window begins, all qualified applicants may begin the application process online. Application Fees:

100/- Male general, OBC, and EWS candidates.

A non-refundable, non-transferable application fee must be paid only online by applicants. For those who are SC, ST, Divyang, or women, there is no application cost.

Age Relaxation

10 years – PwD candidates

Employees of the Central Government who have been employed for five years in positions in the same field of activity or in related cadres and when it is reasonably possible to infer that the experience they have gained in one position will be helpful in carrying out the duties of the open positions.

The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per the rules in vogue.

Qualifications:

With a valid GATE score in electronics and communication engineering, a first-class bachelor's degree in engineering or technology is required.

First-class undergraduate engineering or technology degree in mechanical engineering with a valid GATE score.

Aa valid GATE score in computer science and engineering, along with a first-class bachelor's degree in engineering or technology.

First-class undergraduate engineering or technology in electrical engineering degree from an accredited university, or an equivalent qualification. Electrical engineering GATE score that is valid.

A first-class undergraduate engineering or technology in metallurgy degree from an accredited university, or an equivalent, is required. Valid Metallurgical Engineering GATE score.

Master's degree in Physics with honors from an accredited institution, or an equivalent degree. Valid GATE Physics score.

Master's degree in chemistry with honors from an accredited institution, or an equivalent degree. Valid Chemistry GATE score.

First-class undergraduate engineering or technology degree in chemical engineering from an accredited university, or an equivalent qualification. GATE score that is valid for chemical engineering.
